Symbolism is used to help understand the meaning of something. It's also used to represent the meaning of something.A few examples of this would be like an elephant representing the republican party or the donkey represtening the dominican party. Symbolism is often used when tr

So far The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fist Fight in Heaven is a decent book, I like the short stories it gives. All the short stories so far seem to be about drug abuse or alchohol abuse. This Sherman Alexia book is a good book for someone that needs help or needs an eye opener in life. The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fist Fight is a long book with multiple short stories in it; most of the short stories talk about Native Americans and their way of life which I find very interesting.

In the book Hunger Games, one example of allegory is capetalism. Capetalism is where one government takes completely control of their country. I know that this is an example of allegory because the capital of Panem took control of all 12 districts.

So far in the Hunger Games Two people from 12 different districts get chosen to represent their district. Two teens get picked from district 12 one boy and one girl. The are one their way to the arena by train; on this train they get treated like they are royal. They are given all the food they want and refreshments; they also have a mentor that guides them and gives them advice to what they should do while fighting. This book ties into naturalism because it is fiction therefor; not everything is realistic.

The big question I chose is; when can you tell when someone is truly loyal to you? I decided on this question because in the book "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" the grandfather's grandson, Jacob is a very loyal young man to him; this shows because he is one who does what it takes to accomplish what his grandpa always wanted. A few things that show this would be; after Jacob experienced his grandpas awful death he pieced together different things that clued in on where he needed to go instantly after he realized what his grandpa was saying needed to be done. This occurrence led to Jacob sticking to his word and going on this adventure to the Island.

Miss. Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children doesn't follow Gothic romance. This book seems to be more Gothic and horror than it is romance; although it does  tie into both themes. So far the grandson Jacob found his grandpa out in the woods face down almost dead, his grandpa told him to go an Island so he can be safe. Jacob goes to this Island and finds all of these peculiar children that have been raised by Miss Peregrine in her home for peculiar children. The island is stuck in a time loop so they are living the same day over and over again.
